House Allyrion of Godsgrace is a major Dornish noble house. Godsgrace sits near the confluence of the Scourge and the Vaith into the Greenblood. Their blazon is a golden hand on gyronny red and black. Their words do not appear in the books, but according to semi-canon sources they are "No Foe May Pass". History House Allyrion was founded by Andal adventurers houses who came to Dorne during the Andal invasion, along with House Uller, House Qorgyle, House Vaith, House Jordayne, House Santagar, and House Martell. House Martell was once a vassal to the Allyrions of Godsgrace. During the First Dornish War, the Allyrions fled their castle before the arrival of Queen Rhaenys Targaryen on her dragon, Meraxes. Recent Events Ser Ryon Allyrion and Daemon Sand are among the Dornish nobles that accompany Prince Oberyn Martell to King's Landing. The Bastard of Godsgrace helps Oberyn don his armor before the duel against Ser Gregor Clegane. A Feast for Crows Daemon is arrested by Prince Doran Martell's men for demanding the release of the Sand Snakes. A Dance with Dragons The Lord of Godsgrace is present at the feast when Ser Balon Swann arrives in Sunspear to deliver the Mountain's skull. He drinks when Ricasso raises a toast to King Tommen I Baratheon. The Winds of Winter Daemon comes from Godsgrace to Sunspear to be part of Princess Arianne Martell's party sent by her father, Prince Doran Martell, to meet with Aegon Targaryen. He is named Arianne's sworn shield. While sailing across the Sea of Dorne to Cape Wrath, Daemon defeats Arianne in a game of cyvasse. House Allyrion at the end of the third century The known Allyrions during the timespan of the events described in A Song of Ice and Fire are: Lady Delonne Allyrion, the Lady of Godsgrace. Ser Ryon Allyrion, her son and heir. Ser Daemon Sand, Ryon's bastard son. Known as "The Bastard of Godsgrace" Ryon's two sons by Ynys Yronwood, his wife. Notes It is unclear who this Lord of Godsgrace is. If the reference is an error, Lady Delonne Allyrion might have been intended. Possibly, the "Lord of Godsgrace" is Lady Delonne's husband. A third option is that this is a reference to Delonne's son and heir, Ser Ryon Allyrion, in which case Lady Delonne died during the span of A Dance with Dragons, making Ryon the new Lord of Godsgrace.
